Data & insights with Power BI
The numbers that matter on one screen: sales, planning, margins and service, refreshed automatically and readable on your phone.
Customer: How many quote requests came in this month, and how many became a job?
Report assistant: It's on the first page of your dashboard: requests per type of job and region, quotes sent and quotes won. Two quotes have been open for more than 14 days.
Dashboard refreshed this morning, open quotes flagged
The figures exist, but nobody sees them
“Every month I lose a day combining Excel files into one overview.”
“I only know how a month went once the accountant tells me.”
“Everyone has their own version of the figures, and they never match.”
Dashboards you actually open
We start from the questions you want answered, not from the data. Then we connect the sources, build the dashboard and show your team how to use it.
The numbers on one screen
Sales, planning, margins or service in one dashboard, with the few figures that matter on top and the detail one click away.
Connected and refreshed
Data from Excel, your accounting software, Dynamics 365 or Dataverse, refreshed on a schedule, so nobody has to rebuild the report by hand.
The right figures for the right people
Row-level security, so a sales rep sees their own customers and a manager sees the whole team, from one and the same report.
On your phone, with training
A mobile layout for the Power BI app and a short training session, so your team reads the figures and builds simple views themselves.
Your data stays in your own Microsoft 365 tenant. We document where every figure comes from and how it is calculated, so everyone trusts the same numbers.
A contractor's quote requests, turned into figures
Our demo site for a fictional contractor collects complete quote requests. Every request like that is a row a dashboard can count: per type of job, per region, quoted and won. The site runs on demo data; the dashboard is what we build on top.
- Quote requests with type of job, region and timing, collected in a structured way
- The structure a dashboard needs: requests, quotes sent and jobs won
- The kind of overview we build: requests per month, win rate and open quotes
All your sources, one version of the truth
Power BI pulls data from the places where it already lives, models it once and shows it everywhere: in the browser, in Teams and on your phone.
- ExcelSpreadsheets on SharePoint or OneDrive, refreshed without anyone opening them.
- Your accountingRevenue, invoices and margins, through a connector, an API or a scheduled export.
- Dynamics 365Opportunities, cases and work orders, straight from your CRM data in Dataverse.
- SharePointLists and files from your team sites, as an extra source.
- Phone & TeamsThe same dashboard in the Power BI app and in a Teams channel.

Questions we often get
It depends on the number of sources and on how clean the data is. After the free digital check you get one clear scope and a fixed price.
A first dashboard on one or two sources is usually ready within a few weeks. Most of the time goes into agreeing what each figure means, and we do that with you up front.
To share dashboards with colleagues, everyone who views them usually needs a Power BI Pro license. It is included in Microsoft 365 E5 and available separately for other plans. Larger organizations can use Premium Per User or a Fabric capacity. We advise on the simplest setup that fits.
Usually, yes: through a Power BI connector, an API or a scheduled export to SharePoint. Which route works depends on your package, and we check it in the free digital check.
On a schedule you choose, for example every morning or several times a day, within the limits of your license. Data on a local server or PC goes through a data gateway.
Only the people you give access to. With row-level security one report shows each person only their own rows, and the data stays in your own Microsoft tenant.
